George Bizer
I’m a social psychologist with very broad interests. Some areas I’ve explored include:
– Situational and dispositional predictors of persuasion
– Message framing
– individual differences including social-norm espousal and emotional responses to unfairness
– Teaching of psychology
– Psychological effects of social-media usage
– Political psychology
– Pricing and behavioral economics
Union College is a liberal-arts institution with fantastic students who want to get involved in undergraduate research. For this reason, lots of my recent publications have been driven by student interests and theses. I’m never quite sure what I’ll be studying next!
